I
came to the Big Island in late 1990 from Miami, Florida with my husband
and our son. The first ten years found myself working side by side with
my husband in his optometry office. It afforded me the opportunity to
spend more time with our son as he was growing up. We became very active
in the community through the baseball leagues (enjoyed my time as team
mom!), the school PTA's, and even worked as a director on the local YWCA
Board.
In the year 2000, I got the itch to try something new and made a life-changing career move to earn my license. And what a move it was! I never thought it would be as enjoyable as it is. There are many challenges and there are many rewards. The people I have met and worked with along the way have been fantastic. Each one looking to find a place on our island, each one appreciating the aloha of its people. I truly believe that every one of them has found that aloha spirit in them, too! I look forward to the opportunity to help you find your dream on our island. Maybe one day we shall meet, maybe we will only be in contact by phone or email, but to that end, I hope to show you how beautiful our island is, and that the beauty is extended through its people.
